Laptop pallets and stocklots

Laptop pallets and lots range from new overstock to refurbished, used and customer-return units. The grade is the first thing to settle: ask the seller to define it (cosmetic condition, whether units power on and pass a test, battery health), because grading terms are not standardised between sellers. Ask for a manifest with model, processor, memory, storage and, where possible, serial numbers per unit. Check the keyboard layout, since a lot with mostly one national layout narrows where you can sell it, and whether chargers are included. Confirm that storage has been wiped and that no units are locked to an account or a BIOS password. For used and refurbished stock, ask what warranty the seller gives and agree in advance what happens to units that are dead on arrival.
