Before buying household overstock, ask for a product list with dimensions, materials and pictures of the actual goods, and whether items are flat-packed and complete with fittings and instructions. Electrical items such as lamps should have CE marking and the right plug. Check for damaged packaging or furniture with transport damage, and whether pet food or garden chemicals have expiry dates or need special handling. For office supplies, check the language on the packaging and whether paper sizes and formats suit your market.

Many of these goods are bulky, so freight is a large share of the cost: work out the price per pallet or per truck. If you have surplus home, garden or office stock, list it here for trade buyers.
