Customer returns pallets

Customer returns pallets contain goods sent back to retailers or online shops: some unused in damaged packaging, some used, some faulty. They are sold with or without a manifest. A manifested pallet lists the items and their original retail value; an unmanifested one is cheaper and more of a gamble. Ask how the pallet was graded, whether items were tested, and what share is usually sellable as it is. The original retail value on a manifest is not what you can resell for, so value the lot on realistic resale prices minus the cost of repair, repackaging and disposal. Electricals need testing and may need repair before resale. Returns pallets are bulky, so check the transport cost, and ask whether you can buy a single pallet first before committing to a full truck.
